Extra Content
Extra Content is all the rage at the moment and so I have made Two3Five "EC Ready".This is a classic Rapidweaver Styled Text page - just the sort of place that Extra Content can work well. This page has been set out to show you how Extra Content is used in Two3Five.
Two3Five makes use of Extra Content as follows:
- As a styling tool to add colour and Round Corners to various Extra Content boxes that you can add to your page (EC 1/2/3/4)
- To create a specific Extra Content area that runs the width of the page, below the main content area and the sidebar. (EC8)
- For Handy Note. (EC9)
Extra Content Area 1
Extra Content 1 is a simple box with a neat grey border.
Extra Content Area 2
Extra Content 2 is a blue box with white text.
Extra Content Area 3
Extra Content 3 is a silver box with white text.
Extra Content Area 4
Extra Content 4 is a green box with white text.
My site-wide note system Handy Note is based on the power of Extra Content, but unlike Extra Content areas in other themes, you can place your Handy Note where ever you like by pasting your own Custom CSS code in the RapidWeaver Page Inspector.
It' s a freeform thing...
Handy eh?
Extra Content 8
In Two3Five, Extra Content 8 is the one area with a predefined position on the page. EC8 runs the entire width of the page, allowing you to flow content below you main content and sidebar areas.
EC8: on/off
EC8 can be turned on and off in the Styles palette if the Page Inspector, just like any other Two3Five style option.
EC8 Styling
Add styling to your EC8 area, by dragging one of the other pre-styled EC areas inside EC8. Here I have added Two3Five's EC4 styling to this column.
EC8 Styling
Two3Five's EC4 styling has been added to make this column blue.
